Shams Heart Is All There Is
Rumi has become one of the world’s most Beloved of Poets. His background is Islamic as the world knows. My introduction to him came through my period if time I spent as a Baha’i. Later my understanding went much deeper went I began studying Sufism. My Sufi experience has been primarily through the teaching of Pir Moineddin Jablonski, student of Sufi Ahmed Murad Murad Chisti Samuel Lewis, student of Hazrat Inayat Khan. This path was initiated in 1976.
The poem on the indicated page Shams Heart Is All There Is was inspired by a quote that at the moment I do not remember the source or the translator, please excuse this err, I am on a foreign computer not at my home base.

“Shams Heart Is All There Is” is beautiful. I think there may be some editing errors on that page though. It is a bit confusing as to who wrote what. It appears there are 3 authors with maybe some mixed up credits?

Thanks for the post. Very educational. My family and I take a trip to Memphis every summer. We go to Graceland, Beale Street, the Sun Studio, and then to the blues clubs for the evening. Always a good time!
