Shams Heart Is All There Is

“Your ninth month is Shams Face
you who have been trusted with
the secret of both worlds.
O heart be patient in this
blood until the ninth month.
Shams Heart Is All There Is
And then the veil’s come down, ahhh
but to remember the source…

It was there in Her Blood
sustaining and bringing forth
You…who have seen His Face
shining off the satin of Sierra
slopes…off the grace of a earthen
breast.  She, who was the cradle
of your dusty parts…sourced of His
Ishq…crooning peace over your crib.

He has given you His horizons and
the sea beneath His Heavenly Face
which reflects ‘this light’ ‘this love’
first found in Her Blood…and Yes!
You are a knower of both worlds
yet to remember The Song of
The Source… O Remember my little heart
for Shams Heart is all there is
after the ninth month!
