Adversity’s Flower
She is a flower that blooms in adversity…
I Knew her when and I knew her then and
Now I would know her should her door open again.
Still…on those quiet nights ‘neath Luna’s Smile…
It is she wandering down those Rays that carry
Sweet juices on their wings of memory…
And I am lifted up out of mire onto a shining
Shore…given again the nuances of love’s
Delicious laughter, wandering then in
Eden Midst
Eden’s Garden of wondrous flowers but
To return to reality’s house bereft of but the
Hint of those colors, those arias of sound
From woodland, midnight lit singers winging
Up the same rays, she came into my dreams
Has now lit up my empty arms…yet this teacher
Left behind her a strength that one can touch
In this midnight light that transcends the limits
Ego’s wounds have left bound tight, allowing
Adversity’s Child to leap from the dark cavern
Of a dying heart back into the Garden’s light to bloom…
Gladly, these rare blooms are lit entirely from within…
Joy’s highest moment within
Eden’s Garden Blossoms.
For the Beloved is in residence…is here…in my Heart.
